Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MIG Welder to join our team. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and products using MIG welding techniques. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding process specifications
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding methods based on project requirements
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Operate hand tools such as grinders, calipers, and measuring tapes to prepare materials and ensure accuracy of welds
- Inspect welds for defects and perform necessary repairs or adjustments
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute projects efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role
- Proficient in MIG welding techniques and equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Familiarity with hand tools used in welding processes
- Mechanical knowledge to understand the principles of structural fabrication
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
