Position Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Associate supports Becker Canada Vacuum Technologies by ensuring the accurate and efficient handling, packaging, and shipment of vacuum pumps and compressors to customers throughout Canada. This role is responsible for a variety of warehouse operations including order fulfillment, inventory management, receiving incoming goods, packaging products for shipment, preparing shipping documentation, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Essential Functions:
- Perform warehouse packaging activities in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel and Customer Service representatives to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Operate a tow motor/forklift to load and unload trucks for incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments.
- Prepare vacuum pump and compressor orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and verify accuracy against documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory management activities.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Review and verify product labeling for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company safety policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Ontario).
- Participate in special projects and additional assignments as directed.
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration in support of departmental and organizational goals.

Work Conditions/Physical Demands:
This position is primarily based in a warehouse environment and requires prolonged periods of standing and moderate physical exertion. The role may involve:
- Occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds
- Frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds
- Frequent pulling, pushing, carrying, reaching, bending, twisting, climbing, squatting, and crouching
- Occasional exposure to fumes within the warehouse environment
