We are hiring Framers/Carpenters with a minimum of 3-5+ years experience in residential framing, as well as Carpenter Helpers/Apprentices to work with us on our projects throughout Calgary.
We have full time year round work, and are looking for dedicated, reliable individuals to join us as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities, Duties, and Requirements may include but are not limited to;
- 3-5 years experience in Framing/Carpentry
- Team player mentality
- Must have reliable Transportation as there is no transit to our projects in new developments.
- Carrying, moving, organizing lumber (must be able to carry at least 50 lbs)
- Measuring, marking, cutting lumber according to Blueprint specs
- Follow the established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Able to work with little to no supervision.
- Familiar with the operation of hand and power tools including, but not limited to; hammers, drills, nail guns, skill saws, compressors, etc.
- Knowledgeable in the framing process (windows, doors, roof trusses, sheeting, walls, and hardware, etc..)
- The ability to read building plans is an asset
- Positive attitude and good work ethic is a must. Lots of opportunity to run different sites as experience and understanding grows.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Full Carpentry pouch and basic tools ( other tools are major asset)
- Vehicle is a MUST
