Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Granite Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing granite countertops and surfaces, with a strong background in various construction-related skills. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques to ensure high-quality results. The position is full-time and requires a commitment to safety, precision, and craftsmanship.
Duties
- Measure and prepare work areas according to blueprints and schematics
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to cut, shape, and install granite surfaces
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate installation
- Apply caulking and sealing materials to ensure waterproofing and durability of installed surfaces
- Assist with restoration projects involving stonework or surface repairs
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Perform related tasks such as flooring installation, tile laying, or construction painting as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in granite installation or related construction fields such as carpentry or flooring installation
- Proficiency with hand tools, caulking, plumbing, welding, and other relevant construction skills
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of restoration techniques and construction painting is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety procedures in a construction environment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various physical conditions
- Valid <PERSON> (or relevant certification/license) preferred but not mandatory
