Cabling Technician/Installer - Fibre & Copper

Languages: English Wages: Competitive industry wages based on experience and expertise. Education: C ompletion of high school; Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training .

Experience: We are looking for technicians who may be experienced in cable installation (Cat5e, Cat6), network termination, security systems, paging systems, telephony, AV, Cisco equipment, CCTV, and, Fiber splicing & terminations. Knowledge in all of these areas would be an asset but not mandatory.

Additional Skills: Read blueprints; Work at heights or in confined spaces; Complete and maintain test and service records . Security and Safety. Criminal record check; Driver's validity license check .

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools; Steel-toed safety boots; Hard hat; Safety glasses/goggles .

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Tight deadlines; Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Ability to distinguish between colours; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Bending, crouching, kneeling. This position may include long or irregular hours, and some travel required.

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence; Own transportation; Willing to travel .
