We are currently seeking a full-time Human Resources Administrator at our 45,000 square foot production facility just off Hwy. 36 in Lindsay, Ontario. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this individual performs entry level HR-related tasks.
Conduct full-cycle recruitment for hourly roles at Mariposa Dairy, including creating job postings, reviewing résumés, conducting pre-screening assessments, scheduling and conducting interviews, and completing reference checks.
Assisting with new hire orientations and the onboarding process.
Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR Team.
Maintain employee files, including filing HR related documentation.
Tracking, documenting, and ensuring all applicable paperwork and systems updates are completed for organizational changes, i.e. position transfers/promotions/new hires.
Coordinate HR Projects including, but not limited to meetings, training, surveys.
Provide information to managers, supervisors and employees on policies, procedures, recruitment, training, and other communications.
Acting as the first point of contact for employees within the business for human resources (HR) issues and questions; guiding them to the appropriate resources
Assist with other duties and projects as assigned
Key Attributes of the Ideal Candidate:
Post-secondary degree/certificate program in Human Resources Management or Business Administration, or equivalent education and/or experience
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Previous experience with recruitment an asset.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Products.
Strong problem-solving capabilities, organizational, and planning skills.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, set and meet deadlines.
Strong customer service orientation.
Strong verbal and written communication and active listening skills.
Knowledge of relevant provincial employment acts, such as the Human Rights Code and the Ontario Employment Standards Act, 2000.
