Your Opportunity:
Working under general direction of the Director, Community & Learning Partnerships and Access Pathways, and day-to-day general oversight by the Team Lead, Community Partnerships and Engagement, the Program Design and Integration Coordinator builds and strengthens relationships with communities, stakeholders and partners within and beyond U of T Scarborough to further our collective work as an anchor institution in the Eastern GTA while aligning with local community wealth building strategies. You will develop and promote values and asset-based programs and partnerships, build internal community relationships, help to research new sources of funding, assist inwriting grant proposals, build internal connections to community priorities, and support local community-university partnerships and initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Fostering cooperative working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external contacts-
Implementing plans and process improvements for program and service activities

Promoting programs and service offerings to internal and/or external contacts
-
Developing and maintaining partner networks to build capacity and collaboration with external agencies
-
Keeping well-informed on leadership commitments and priorities
-
Keeping well-informed on theories related to equity, diversity and inclusion
-
Determining logistical details and activities for events and/or programming
-
Serving as a resource to a group or on a function
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in human geography, communications, sociology, critical development studies/ leadership or relevant field of discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience-
Minimum four years experience in related fields such as community development, stakeholder relations, program planning and event management

Demonstrated experience in managing a variety of cost efficient community engagement projects

Experience in administration and project management
-
Experience with community engagement, outreach and the ability to understand the needs of the local community

Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail

Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills

Must demonstrate superior interpersonal skills

Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and adherence to confidentiality

Demonstrates enthusiasm and passion for community engagement and delivering results

Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and awareness

USW Pay Band 12 - $71,842 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $91,875. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
