Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tri-axle dump truck driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a tri-axle dump truck to transport materials across various job sites, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tri-axle dump truck to haul construction materials, debris, or other freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking fluid levels, brakes, tires, and safety equipment.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, cargo weight, and delivery details for reporting purposes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
- Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including hours of service rules.
- Perform routine maintenance or coordinate repairs with automotive repair specialists to keep the vehicle in optimal condition.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating heavy-duty trucks, specifically tri-axle dump trucks.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and freight handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshoot mechanical issues when needed.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus for loading/unloading freight at facilities.
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to commercial driving and heavy equipment use.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions effectively.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
