The Opportunity – Drive Impact Through Expertise
Join WSP’s growing Prairies & North team as a Senior Downhole Advisor based in Calgary, Alberta. In this flexible, part-time role, you will bring your deep industry expertise to support business development and provide senior advisory services that help grow our downhole advisory offering across the region. Your insight and network will play a key role in shaping opportunities and strengthening relationships in a dynamic and evolving market.
Your Impact
- Support the growth of downhole advisory services, including drilling, completions, and subsurface disciplines
- Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities and strengthening client relationships
- Provide senior technical and strategic advice to support project delivery and client success
- Leverage your professional network to expand WSP’s presence in the regional energy market
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated advisory solutions
- Mentor and support the development and recruitment of new team members
- Represent WSP as a trusted advisor in client engagements and industry forums
The Skills That Set You Apart
- 20+ years of experience in drilling and completions, reservoir engineering, geology, hydrogeology, or related disciplines
- Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management
- Strong understanding of subsurface advisory services and industry trends
- Established professional network within the energy sector
- Ability to provide strategic insight and high-level technical guidance
- Experience working collaboratively across diverse teams and disciplines
- Strong communication and influencing skills in client-facing environments

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $ 177,000 - $234,400
MB & ON: $ 161,500 - $222,300
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $ 159,900 - $212,300
