Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations and overall management of the office.
- Responsible for marketing and client liaison
- Recruitment and hiring of strategic staff
- Proposal preparation, budgeting, and client development
- Responsible for planning, management, and execution of projects and those of staff reporting to you to ensure effectiveness of the deployment of staff and resources to achieve objectives
- Prepare and oversee proposals on behalf of project managers, liaise with client and project initiation in line with our clients standards
- Supervising and mentoring intermediate and senior engineers to enhance their capabilities
- Supervision and management of Office, along with training junior staff
- Ensure health and safety policies are followed at all sites
Key Qualifications, Skills & Education:
- University degree in Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Science from recognized institution
- Must be a registered and practicing Professional Engineer in Ontario
- 8 to 10 years of experience in the Geotechnical, Materials Testing and construction industry
- Strong project management, client management, and business development skills
- Proven leadership and team building experience
- Prior experience with running branch office or division is preferred
- Ability to travel between our clients offices and sites within Ontario
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English
- Organized, works well under pressure and able to multi-task is essential
- Must own a vehicle with insurance coverage and hold a Valid (G-Level) Ontario Driver's License
- Flexible to work on a wide variety of projects, tasks, and assignments, responding easily to changing priorities
Pay: $145,000.00-$155,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's Degree (required)
Experience:
- Geotechnical, Materials Testing and construction industry: 8 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- registered and practicing Professional Engineer in Ontario (required)
