Clearspan Contracting is seeking an experienced individual to be a Carpenter/Renovator for mid to large sized residential construction projects primarily in the Fraser Valley area. We specialize in custom home builds, additions and whole home renovations. We look after many of the project tasks in-house with our skilled team.
We perform several aspects of the trade, however there will be strong focus on framing and finish carpentry work.
Professionalism, experience, punctuality, and attention to detail is absolutely paramount to the success of an eligible candidate.
Typical projects & work requirements:
- Working off Plans/Blueprints.
- Work alongside crew performing carpentry, and general labour & demo work as required.
- Experience with wood framing, flooring, finish carpentry, cabinetry, etc.
- General knowledge of other trades, like plumbing and electrical.
- Creating and forecasting material orders.
- Foster a safe work environment and follow any applicable safety requirements.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Red Seal designation or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years)
- References
- Ability to adapt to new technology (apps, software, etc)
- Have your own hand tools - we will supply most power tools
- Valid Drivers. A fully equipped work vehicle will be provided.
- Ability to work 40 hours a week.

- Organized; you effectively manage your time while balancing multiple priorities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
