Key Responsibilities
- Works effectively with the kitchen team, and complies with company procedures and food safety policies.
- Reports directly to the food service manager and ensures to reach the sandwiches target by leading the team efficiently.
- Communicates effectively daily with the kitchen team.
- Prepares daily workstation with required equipment and keeps station sanitary and organized throughout the shift.
- Reads and accurately follows recipe instructions and amounts.
- Portioning ingredients/components accurately, following recipes and instructions.
- Performs food preparation duties in a sanitary and safe manner.
- Ensures ingredients are tagged, date-labeled, covered, stored, and rotated effectively.
- Keeps utensils and equipment clean and sanitary.
- Removes trash and clearing storage bins/cardboard.
- Performs other miscellaneous tasks to help the production team, as required.
What You Bring
- Previous experience in a high-volume sandwich shop, deli, or food production facility is a strong asset.
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing the quality or neatness of the product.
- Comfort with repetitive tasks, including spreading, layering, and wrapping, with a high degree of precision.
- Ability to distinguish between different recipes and identify minor discrepancies in ingredient quality.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive hand/arm motions.
- Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- A consistent track record of punctuality and a "team-first" attitude.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
