Job Summary

Our Bonnyville location is a small team of professionals endeavoring to expand and cultivate their business. At this time, we are seeking an ambitious and flexible individual who is prepared to expend efforts in a variety of diverging duties. These tasks include assisting with shipping and receiving responsibilities, or facilitating with customer transactions at the sales counter and over the phone. Our location is a very team based environment with an emphasis on our desire to provide a high level of customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities: An EMCO Counter/Warehouse teammate is expected to:

Represent the Profit Centre in a professional manner
Endorse and sustain our Core Values and Ethics with every interaction
Establish a long-lasting and devoted consumer base
Take initiative and be persuasive by using excellent communication skills
Be a valuable and essential part of the team at our Profit Centre
Process sales orders in person and over the phone
Meet or exceed the Profit Centre’s gross profit and sales targets
Interface with and assist customers who come into the Profit Centre
Investigate and rectify customer concerns, such as pricing deductions and product returns
Expedite customer material with vendors when required
Follow-up with customers on quotes and outstanding orders
Assist in shipping or warehouse requirements as needed
Perform any other reasonable duties requested by the Profit Centre Manager
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Outstanding customer service and telephone skills
High level of detail orientation and organizational abilities; must be able to multitask and balance many different deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates
Identify customer requirements and provide sound solutions
Able to learn and operate the applicable software systems used to process orders
Intermediate math skills – add, subtract, multiply, divide; using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
Willing to invest a minimum of 40 hours in training, annually
Forklift certification an asset, but can be acquired on the job
Entrance Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years’ experience in customer service, counter sales and/or warehousing
Comprehensive plumbing and HVAC product and product application knowledge
Successful completion of EMCO’s hiring process
