Lakeshore Power Washing is looking for an organized, confident, and proactive person to help us grow. This is not a background role for someone who simply wants to check tasks off a list. It is an opportunity to help a founder build a trusted local service business, improve the customer experience, and turn consistent follow-up and marketing activity into real results.
We are hiring a Part-Time Seasonal Marketing & Office Administrator to support our operations across Windsor–Essex County. The position is primarily remote and offers a flexible schedule of 15–20 hours per week. We will meet in person once each week at a mutually agreed central location to review systems, plan the week ahead, discuss what is working, and identify ways to improve.
Position details
Part-Time Seasonal Marketing & Office Administrator
Location Hybrid/Remote (must live in Windsor-Essex County); Meet with founder once a week.
Hours - 15–20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule
Season - Approximately early April/May through December; operations wind down around Christmas and resume in the spring
Compensation:$20–$25 per hour, based on experience and fit
Start - As soon as the right person is found
The Opportunity:
You will be one of the key points of contact between Lakeshore Power Washing and our customers. Your work will help ensure that new leads receive timely attention, existing customers feel looked after, schedules and messages stay organized, and our marketing consistently reflects the quality of our work.
This position is well suited to a person who wants meaningful, flexible part-time work that fits around other commitments while still having the chance to take ownership, improve systems, and grow with a business. We are looking for someone who wants to return each season and build a long-term working relationship as the company grows.
Your first priority will always be to keep up with inbound calls, new leads, customer messages, and quotes. When that work is organized and current, you will use available time to create useful marketing material and make proactive outbound calls and emails that help generate new business, re-engage customers, and move opportunities forward.
What You Will Do
Your work will combine customer communication, office coordination, and practical marketing support. Responsibilities will include:
Answering and returning customer calls in a professional, friendly, and sales-minded manner. Responding promptly to inbound leads, emails, texts, and customer questions. Preparing, sending, and following up on quotes so that opportunities do not fall through the cracks.
Helping schedule estimates and jobs, coordinating calendars, and keeping customer information accurate and organized.
Supporting invoices, review requests, appointment confirmations, and other customer communications as needed.
Managing or supporting regular social-media activity that shows the quality, personality, and professionalism of Lakeshore Power Washing.
Creating marketing material, including social posts, simple graphics, email and text-message content, and review-request campaigns.
Making organized outbound calls and emails when inbound customer work is up to date, with the goal of following up on leads, re-engaging customers, and supporting revenue growth.
Keeping an eye on what is working, bringing ideas to the weekly planning meeting, and helping improve our systems over time.
Creating, filming, or editing short-form photo and video content when able. Graphic-design experience and familiarity with tools such as Canva are assets, but they are not required.
You will use phone, email, text, social platforms, and our operating systems throughout the day. You do not need to know every system on day one, but you must be comfortable learning technology quickly and using it reliably.
What We Are Looking For
The right person is organized, responsive, and motivated by helping a business move forward. You know that professional communication and timely follow-up can make a real difference to a customer’s experience and to a company’s growth.
You should bring experience in customer phone calls, sales or lead follow-up, and everyday business technology. Experience in a home-service company, customer service, office administration, scheduling, social media, or marketing is an asset. A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are preferred so that you can attend the weekly in-person meeting at a central location.
We will especially value someone who takes initiative. If something can be clearer, more organized, or more effective, we want you to notice it, raise it, and help make it better. Ability to create clean, on-brand graphics or marketing collateral is an asset. This role has room to grow into greater responsibility as Lakeshore Power Washing grows.
What We Stand For:
At Lakeshore Power Washing, our standards guide every customer interaction, message, and job.
Neighbour Standard - We treat every property like it belongs to someone we know. You will communicate professionally, follow through reliably, and help create a customer experience that earns trust from the first contact.
Built for It -You bring energy, ownership, and consistency. You can manage a fast-moving workload, adapt when plans change, and take responsibility without waiting to be asked.
Show Up Right - You represent Lakeshore with professionalism in every call, email, text, meeting, and social post.
Lakeshore Clean - We do the work correctly even when nobody is watching. You keep communication clear, records accurate, and commitments honest—no skipped steps.
Why Join Lakeshore Power Washing?
You will have flexible part-time hours, an important role in a growing business, and direct collaboration with the founder. We are looking for a team member who finds satisfaction in helping a good local business grow and who sees the potential for future responsibility and advancement.
