Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical expertise, hands-on experience with various tools and equipment, and a passion for vehicle maintenance and repair. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and heavy equipment
- Conduct maintenance procedures such as oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and electrical system troubleshooting
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities, including heavy lifting and operation of industrial equipment
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
- Assist in assembly or disassembly of mechanical parts for repair or replacement purposes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic; dealership experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems such as electrical, HVAC, welding.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic software
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with heavy equipment operation is a bonus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients
- Prior experience with welding or assembly tasks is a plus
- Valid Trade certifications related to automotive repairs required
