Position: Primary Care Registered Nurse – Edgemont Health Centre
Employment type: Permanent, Part-Time, 0.6 FTE (24 weekly hours).

Objective: Being a nurse on our Primary Care Team means that you get to utilize your full scope of practice alongside family physicians and other healthcare professionals in an interdisciplinary environment.
ABOUT THE EDMONTON WEST PRIMARY CARE NETWORK:
With a mission to support family physicians in improving primary care through relationships, collaboration and innovation, Primary Care Networks (PCN) are groups of family doctors who work with other health professionals to coordinate the comprehensive delivery of primary care services for their patients. Our team of health professionals include Nurses, Dieticians, Pharmacists, Behavioral Health Consultants, Community Health Navigators, Social Workers and Exercise Specialists who collaborate to provide comprehensive primary care services for the community.

Qualifications and License:
- Current CRNA Registration and BLS CPR are required
- Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) designation is an asset
Previous Experience:
- Three to five years of professional nursing experience
- Previous experience in primary care setting is a strong asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Demonstrated experience using EMR (MedAccess)
- Women’s health experience is an asset
- Case management and/or health system navigation
· Strong knowledge of chronic disease management and ability to work to full RN scope of practice within a referral-based model
· Ability to communicate in Spanish is an asset

- Schedule is based on clinic hours and needs: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:15AM to 4:45PM
