North Star Strong is exploring the addition of Mat Pilates to our growing list of services, and we're looking for the right instructor to help us build it from the ground up.
We're seeking an experienced, certified Mat Pilates Instructor who is excited about more than simply teaching classes. We're looking for someone who wants to help shape and grow a program within a supportive, community-focused fitness studio.

The Opportunity
This role will begin on a part-time basis as we assess demand and build momentum for our Pilates program.
Initial schedule includes:
- Mondays and Fridays:
- 2x morning classes
- 1x evening class
Exact class times to be determined collaboratively
For the right instructor, there is significant opportunity to expand into a larger role as the program grows.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging and professional Mat Pilates classes
- Create a welcoming, inclusive environment for participants of all fitness levels
- Assist in building awareness and participation in the program
- Help retain and grow class attendance through exceptional member experiences
- Collaborate with studio ownership to develop and expand the Pilates offering
- Maintain a safe training environment and uphold professional standards
Qualifications
Required:
- Certified Mat Pilates Instructor
- Current liability insurance
- Previous teaching experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable, and community-minded approach
Preferred:
- Established client following or ability to help generate attendance
- Experience growing or launching Pilates programs

Compensation
Compensation will be discussed with qualified candidates and will reflect experience, certifications, and consist of a revenue share structure.
