Server/Bartender
Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of food safety standards, and experience in the food industry. Previous experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred. - Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs and inquiries
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through strong time management skills
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales
- Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations as needed
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
- Must be able to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with local regulations
