Job Title: Senior Databricks & Power BI Engineer (Capital Markets Data Hub)
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Databricks & Power BI Engineer to join our team in building a next-generation Capital Markets Data Hub. This role will focus on developing data pipelines and reporting capabilities that provide actionable insights into data quality, data management, and operational performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize data solutions on the Databricks platform using Spark and Delta Lake.

Develop and maintain workflows that capture and process data quality metrics generated across multiple systems and processes.

Create interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor data management KPIs, operational metrics, and data quality trends.

Partner with data governance, operations, and business stakeholders to define reporting requirements and success metrics.

Implement scalable and reusable data models to support analytics and reporting needs.

Troubleshoot performance issues and continuously improve the reliability and efficiency of reporting solutions.

Contribute to best practices around data engineering, documentation, testing, and deployment.
Required Qualifications
-
5–7 years of hands-on experience in data engineering and business intelligence roles.

Strong expertise with Databricks, including Apache Spark, Delta Lake, notebooks, and workflow orchestration.

Proven experience developing enterprise reporting solutions using Power BI, including dashboard design, DAX, data modeling, and performance optimization.

Experience building metrics and reporting frameworks for data quality, data governance, or operational monitoring initiatives.

Strong SQL and Python skills.

Experience working with large-scale datasets in regulated environments, preferably within Capital Markets or Financial Services.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Azure data services and CI/CD practices.

Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.

Knowledge of Capital Markets domains such as trading, risk, reference data, or post-trade operations.
