Poolhouse Pools builds high-end custom pools across the Okanagan. We’re looking for an experienced pool carpenter to join our team — someone who takes pride in quality, maintains a clean jobsite, and can be trusted to deliver on time. You’ll be joining a skilled team, with the opportunity to be trained and learn from people who know the craft.
Building a pool demands precision, close attention to detail, problem-solving, and the ability to work with teams and other trades while remaining professional with clients.
This is project-based, variable work — as concrete projects come up, you’ll be brought in to help build them. The role pays $35-45/hour (depending on experience).
What you’ll be doing
- Forming structural walls, slabs, and water features on custom residential pools
- Reading project plans and designs, and building to exact specifications
- Working directly with our team, other contractors, and clients
- Supporting sub-contractor scheduling where needed
What we’re looking for
- Red Seal carpentry certification
- 10+ years of building experience
- Experience framing high-end luxury pools
- Ability to see the project goals and provide input on the building plan
- A proven track record of quality work and reliability
- A great attitude — someone who works well with both our staff and our customers
- References required
