Mustang Powder is looking to hire a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic for the upcoming winter season:
Job duties:
- Maintenance and repair or snowcats, snowmobiles, diesel generators, excavator, grader and lodge mechanical.
- field repairs as required
- Auxiliary snow cat driver when required
- Maintain parts inventory
2 bay heated shop at the lodge, tools provided.
Backcountry travel experience an asset (Should like skiing/snowboarding)
Days of work/ schedule: Part time/ flexible. 10-12 days a month.
Start date: Anytime between August and October
Pay: $375/per day (depending on your qualifications and experience) + tips while guests are at the lodge (approx 150 per day)
At the lodge you have a private bedroom and all meals are provided
You typically get 1 day of cat skiing per week - but this varies and is not guaranteed.
We pay fuel from your home to/from our trailhead.
