Workforce Inc. is currently seeking a Recruiter to support a local client in a high-volume environment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced recruiter who enjoys working closely with operations, building talent pipelines, and recruiting for skilled trades, technical, operational and administrative roles.

Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for skilled trades, technical, operational and administrative positions
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, trade schools, job fairs and community programs
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to meet changing workforce needs
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and deliver qualified candidates
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with employment legislation, collective agreements and company policies
- Maintain accurate applicant tracking, recruitment metrics and reporting through ATS/HRIS systems
- Coordinate background checks, pre-employment requirements and onboarding logistics
- Build positive relationships with candidates and provide a professional candidate experience
- Liaise with recruitment agencies, training institutions and labour providers as required
- Support employer branding, community engagement and workforce attraction initiatives
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3–5+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in a high-volume, industrial or manufacturing environment
- Experience recruiting for trades, technical, operational and administrative positions
- Proficiency with ATS/HRIS systems and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
- Experience in a unionized environment is considered an asset
- Knowledge of safety and compliance requirements for industrial roles
- Strong communication, organizational and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with apprenticeship or trainee programs is considered an asset
Assignment Length: Temporary contract, 6 months or more depending on client needs
Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time
Pay Rate: $40/hour
