Fil-Trek Corporation is a leading manufacturer of industrial filtration equipment for customers around the globe. Our products are designed and manufactured at our Cambridge, ON facility.
We are looking for a licensed Millwright with five plus years' experience to join our team. This position would include on-site preventive maintenance, completion of maintenance work orders, troubleshooting and project work.
What You Will Do
- Maintenance of site equipment: CNC & manual lathes (including large vertical lathes), 3-axis mills, heavy plate rollers, auto-feed saws, sandblasting booth, paint booth, compressors and more.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of industrial machinery and equipment.
- · Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot and respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Install, align, assemble, disassemble, and relocate machinery and equipment.
- Perform rigging, equipment lifting, and machinery setup as required.
- Fabricate and modify parts and components for equipment repairs and improvements.
- Identify equipment issues and recommend practical solutions to improve reliability and performance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all company safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements.
What We Are Looking For
- Valid 433A Industrial Millwright Certificate of Qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial Millwright experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with machinery installation, preventive maintenance, rigging, and equipment breakdowns.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to maintenance issues.
- Strong safety awareness and ability to follow safe work procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have:
- PLC troubleshooting experience.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
- CNC machinery or automation experience.
