About Us:
FreshFind.ca is a tech-driven ecommerce platform that empowers small food businesses by simplifying order and payment management. We are looking for a creative and user-centered UX Designer Intern to join our product team, enhance our platform’s usability, and ensure a consistent design language across all interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Review and assess the usability of our business-facing ecommerce platform.
- Propose and implement design improvements that enhance the overall user experience for small food businesses.
- Conduct user testing and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
- Develop and maintain a consistent design language across all parts of the platform.
- Collaborate with the product team to align designs with FreshFind's brand identity and vision.
- Ensure all user interface elements are intuitive, visually appealing, and cohesive.
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled currently in a postsecondary program in UX, media, design, art or communication related discipline
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
- Good understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for improving the user experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with ecommerce or business-facing platforms is a plus but not required.
