We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and organized Dental Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator to join our team in a fast-paced independently-owned dental office environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. We are always growing and changing, so we need someone who isn't afraid to grow and change with us!
Duties
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and check them in for their appointments.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Power Practice
- Pre-authorization to insurance companies for both treatment & hygiene appointments
- Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, answer inquiries, and provide information about services.
- Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring all medical terminology is correctly documented.
- Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries with professionalism.
- Assist in managing the front desk operations, including filing and organizing patient information.
- Assist in allocating insurance payments to patient charts and managing A/R
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent service delivery.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental software system Power Practice preferred
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator preferred for easier transition and onboarding
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to operate phone systems and manage multiple lines efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Capability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with office procedures and administrative duties within a dental office environment is an asset.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
