Summary: Shipper Receiver Afternoons
The Shipper Receiver is required to ensure the safe, efficient operation of their machine(s). Responsible for maintaining prescribed quantity and quality of product produced to customer specifications. Other responsibilities include general warehouse duties.
Shift & Salary:
1. Afternoons – Monday – Friday 1pm-9:30pm
2. Afternoons – Tuesday – Friday 4pm-12:30am & Saturday 10am-6:30pm
3. Afternoons Premium ($1 premium)
4. $23-25 per hour depending on experience

Job Duties:
1. Maintaining high production output to meet customer orders
2. Operate Dock stocker to move inbound and outbound freight, (Walkie a bonus)
3. Safely operating machinery
4. Following running instructions and procedures
5. Maintaining housekeeping in the work area
6. Input shipping data
7. Completing all quality checks and adhering to food safety standards
8. Participating in training, cross-training, and continuous improvement initiatives
9. Following all health & safety policies and GMPs
10. Using required PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.)
11. Fast Paced Environment
12. Computer skills needed
13. Heavy lifting 25-50lbs
14. Experience with hand held scanners
15. Knowledge of ERP systems preferred
Requirements:
1. High School diploma, GED or equivalent
2. Dock Stocker Certification a must, Walkie Certification a bonus
3. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), preferably in a food manufacturing facility
4. Highly punctual
5. Able to work as a functioning member of a team
6. Strong work ethic
7. Ability to work independently in a busy environment
8. Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
9. Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing

Work Conditions / Physical Demands:
1. Physical ability to lift up to 23 kgs
2. Work is performed in a combination of environments, including meat production room in temperatures of -1 to +4 degrees Celsius
3. Safety equipment is required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, etc.
4. Overtime as required
5. Repetitive tasks within a fast-paced environment
