Cardiff Poultry Inc. is a family-owned and operated farm looking for dependable people to join our brand-new, highly automated poultry facility producing fertilized chicken eggs.
We are hiring both full-time and part-time employees and are open to flexible arrangements. We would rather find good people and, where practical, build positions around their strengths and availability.
Responsibilities can include:
- Daily barn walk-throughs and bird monitoring
- Egg collection and handling
- Monitoring feeding, ventilation and other barn systems
- Cleaning and routine maintenance
- Following biosecurity and animal-care procedures
- Troubleshooting equipment or production issues
- General farm duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous poultry or farm experience is an asset, but not required (training will be provided)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Team player
- Comfortable working around poultry & agricultural environments
- Mechanical ability is an asset
- Good physical stamina to stand, walk for extended periods throughout shifts including lifting at least 30lbs.
- Ability to follow daily routines and procedures
- Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new things related to poultry farming
- Reliable transportation
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident

Hours vary seasonally. From approximately October to June, substantial and consistent hours are available. From July to September, workload is much lighter, allowing considerably more flexibility and time off.

Pay: $18.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
