Job Summary
The Night Crew Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the sales floor is stocked, organized, and ready for customers each day. Working overnight, this position focuses on stocking incoming merchandise safely and efficiently. As an integral part of the store team, the Night Crew helps ensure the store consistently meets company standards and overall vision.
This is a full-time position consisting of 10-hour shifts, four days per week (40 hours/week). Shifts run from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Days will be fixed and four shifts in a row.
Responsibilities
- Putting away incoming freight
- Stock shelves with incoming merchandise in an accurate and timely manner
- Properly locate and organize stock items
- Document discrepancies between inventory records and physical stock counts
- Operate equipment used to move and stock merchandise, including worker-assisted pick machines, ladders, pallet jacks, and RF scanners
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly stockroom
- Follow company, store, and warehouse policies and procedures
- Work safely and efficiently while supporting overall store operations
Requirements / Skills
- Ability to meet physical job demands, including lifting, carrying, bending, and repetitive movements
- Comfort working overnight shifts
- Ability to operate, or willingness to learn to operate, stock-moving equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- 1 year of retail experience considered an asset
- Previous night shift experience preferred
