Mission

CIMA+ is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Quality System Auditor. Working under the supervision of the Project Quality Coordinator, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring application of the quality management system within the project. The selected candidate will ensure the excellence of ongoing quality control and provide technical leadership based on their knowledge of quality management in accordance with established systems while maintaining a client-centred focus.

Responsibilities

Conduct audits of the quality management systems used by the suppliers responsible for designing and constructing the Réseau express métropolitaine (REM) project
Prepare audit reports
Monitor all instances of non-compliance observed during audits, and validate the effectiveness of any corrective actions that are implemented
Carry out quality-control visits at worksites or plants during construction
Follow-up on all observations made during visits to worksites or plants
Work closely with the team with respect to quality management for the entire REM project

Profile

Bachelor degree in Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance / quality control
In-depth understanding of quality management systems and the requirements and tools associated with ISO 9001
Relevant experience in quality management for large-scale construction / transportation projects
Experience in quality management for large-scale building projects is an asset
Familiarity with and experience in implementing and maintaining quality assurance programs
Project management skills and ability to multitask
Solid verbal and oral communication skills
Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, both individually and as part of a team with others from every organizational level
