Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Mechanic Helper (Heavy-Duty Equipment) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in building a career in heavy-duty repair. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced mechanics, gaining hands-on experience and training across a wide range of mechanical tasks.
No extensive experience is required—just a strong willingness to learn, a good work ethic, and an interest in heavy-duty equipment and repair.
Duties
- Assist mechanics in diagnosing issues with heavy-duty vehicles and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, and inspections
- Support repairs and replacement of parts under supervision
- Help with disassembly and reassembly of components
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Handle tools, equipment, and shop materials responsibly
- Follow all safety procedures and workplace regulations
- Assist with parts handling, inventory, and basic shop support tasks
Training & Development
- Hands-on training provided by experienced heavy-duty mechanics

Qualifications & Skills
- Interest in heavy-duty equipment, mechanical work, or trades
- Basic knowledge of automotive or mechanical systems is an asset
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior mechanics
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to use basic hand tools (or willingness to learn)
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
