Job Overview
The Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Specialist plays a key critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, material flow, and warehouse organization. This role requires a highly dependable, detail-oriented professional with deep experience in shipping and receiving operations who takes ownership of accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong judgment, works independently as well as with the customer service, operations and warehouse teams, and consistently supports operational excellence and customer commitments.

Role and Responsibilities
Receiving and Inventory Accuracy
- Unload trucks and trailers using appropriate material handling equipment
- Verify all inbound shipments for accuracy, including product type, quantities, and condition
- Identify and report discrepancies or damages using packing slips, bills of lading, product identification tools, and supporting documentation
- Accurately enter all received quantities into the ERP system (Modular) in a timely manner
- Ensure all inventory is assigned to a correct and documented bin location within the Warehouse Management System
Warehouse Operations
- Place received product into designated bin locations and proactively restock pick bins as required
- Supply raw materials to Production and remove finished goods efficiently to support workflow
- Ensure all materials remaining in the facility are properly labeled, stored, and system-tracked
- Assist with bin maintenance, inventory organization, and cycle counting activities as needed
Shipping and Logistics
- Prepare courier and carrier documentation, including waybills and bills of lading
- Coordinate and organize outbound shipments for pickup and delivery
- Load materials onto trucks safely and accurately according to shipping requirements
Continuous Improvement and Standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across receiving, storage, and shipping areas
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and workflow
- Demonstrate a customer-focused mindset and contribute positively to team and operational goals
Safety and Compliance
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times
- Adhere to all health and safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Operate material handling equipment in a safe and responsible manner
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in warehouse shipping and receiving
- Proven track record of meeting accuracy, safety, and productivity targets
- Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse best practices
- Experience working with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems
- Forklift operation and hands-on experience operating counterbalance and reach trucks
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and high standards of organization
Working Conditions
- Ability to lift upto 60 lbs
- Must know how to drive a Forklift and wheel loaders
- Ability to comfortably stand, move, bend, lift, reach
