Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, walls, and furniture in commercial spaces.
- Dispose of waste materials properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning and facility maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina; must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
