About Executek International
Executek International is a leading provider of event security and event staffing services throughout the Greater Toronto Area. We support some of the region's largest sporting events, festivals, conventions, parades, road races, and public events.
We are currently seeking professional, reliable, and experienced Security Supervisors to join our seasonal event operations team.
Position Summary
As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading security teams, ensuring posts are staffed, responding to incidents, supporting event operations, and maintaining a safe environment for guests, staff, and event organizers.
This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong communication, decision-making, and customer service skills.
Availability Requirement
Due to peak event season and major client commitments, successful candidates must be fully available throughout July and August, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as required. Candidates with limited availability during these months may not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support security personnel during assigned shifts.
- Ensure all security posts are properly staffed and operational.
- Conduct patrols and monitor site activity.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and customer concerns.
- Complete incident reports and operational documentation.
- Liaise with clients, event organizers, emergency services, and venue personnel.
- Enforce company policies and site procedures.
- Conduct staff briefings and uniform inspections.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to security personnel.
- Assist with staffing adjustments and operational requirements as needed.
- Operate company vehicles when required to support event operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in security, events, hospitality, customer service, or a related field.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification.
- Smart Serve Certification.
- Experience completing incident and occurrence reports.
- Valid Ontario G2 or G Class Driver's Licence.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts when required.
