THE JOB
Are you a Heavy Equipment Mechanic looking for a role that offers variety, independence, and hands-on technical work We’re seeking an experienced Service Technician to perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and installations of automotive lifts and related equipment. In this role, you will travel to customer sites, troubleshoot mechanical issues, complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections, and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys diagnosing problems, working independently, and taking pride in quality workmanship.

REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements: A valid Nova Scotia Class 5 driver's licence with a suitable driving abstract is required. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Millwright, Automotive Technician, Hydraulic Technician, or in a similar mechanical service role. Strong troubleshooting abilities and experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment are essential. Applicants must be capable of lifting 50 lbs or more when required and be comfortable working at heights on ladders of approximately 10 feet while following all safe work practices. Candidates must be willing to travel throughout the Maritime provinces from time to time and participate in ongoing training and company meetings.
