Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card processing, and sales transactions
- Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits to customers
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention and promote featured items
- Manage cash register operations, including balancing cash drawers at shift end and handling refunds or exchanges
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Skills
- Multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency is a plus for reaching wider audiences
- Previous experience in retail sales, technical sales, or cashiering is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for transaction accuracy
- Ability to demonstrate products confidently through product demos and explain features clearly
- Excellent organizational skills for managing inventory, merchandising displays, and time efficiently
- Outstanding phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage customers professionally
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering top-notch customer service
