A Family Time Support Worker (FTSW) is an important member of an integrated Collaborative Service Delivery (CSD) team, who works cooperatively to support safety and promote attachment for families. The branches of Maple Tree include three group homes, The Family Time Program, and the growing Family Support Program. Because of the holistic, flexible nature of the support offered by Maple Tree, a FTSW may be needed in any one of these branches on any given day.
Note: This position is from Monday to Sunday with varying shifts being assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Building rapport and trusting relationship with parents
- Ensure all clients are informed of their rights and responsibilities
- Work with partners and Community agencies to identify and coordinate access to resources for families
- Support parents to engage with their children and model positive parenting strategies, including emotional regulation and age-appropriate guidance based on a child’s developmental level
- Provide transportation for children &/or parents so they may consistently attend family time
- Provide transportation of parents related to their service plan goals
- Attend mandatory trainings
- Relationship-build with youth, modeling pro-social behavior and coaching life skills
- Provide transportation to and from visits, schools, appointments etc.
- Support children/youth in other agency partnerships
Collaboration:
- Work in collaboration with service teams to support parents in achieving their service plan goals and tasks
- Collaborate with the Group Home team in providing support as needed and/or requested Collaborate with Children’s Services and other community agencies
Administrative:
- Timely, accurate, appropriate documentation of all client interaction
- Ensure accuracy and legible documentation is completed in a timely manner
- Clearly record observations from the visits, such as parental attitude, cleanliness of the home, routines, rules etc.…
- Attend court as required and/or requested
- Documentation of all necessary information from each visit with the children, youth, and family
- Provide documentation to the supervisor as required and/or requested
- Ensure that service plans are completed within the timelines provided

Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour
