Cook
Located at the landmark of Niagara Falls, IHOP is a busy breakfast restaurant. We are currently seeking highly enthusiastic candidates to fulfill the position of Cook and to join our team. As a team member at IHOP, you would be working on a variety of stations in a high-volume kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
· Maintaining a sanitized, clean, and well-organized kitchen.
· Preparing workstations for cooking and maintaining kitchen equipment.
· Prepare, season, and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required.
· Checking the quality of the ingredients.
· Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
· Managing food storage, stock, and ingredient orders.
· Comply with health, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
· Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment.
· Perform other assignments or tasks as assigned by the Manager.
· Store, prepare, cook, and properly plate all food, following all regulations.
· Maintaining cleanliness and safety of all food procedures of the kitchen and reporting any discrepancies.
· Ensuring high standard of cleanliness and setting up the workstation
· Practices sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
· All other duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
· Experience is an asset but not necessary. We will provide training to the right candidate.
· Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during stressful and/or busy times.
· Multitasking, organizational and time management skills.
· Knowledge of industry standards on food storage and handling techniques is highly desirable.
· Must be able to work shifts, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
