B&J Global Inc. is a growing logistics and warehousing company providing warehousing, distribution, order fulfillment, transportation, and 3PL logistics services to business clients.
We are currently looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant Supervisor to join our warehouse team. This position will support the Warehouse Manager in daily warehouse operations, team coordination, order processing, inventory follow-up, and on-site problem solving.
The ideal candidate should have warehouse experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to assist with coordinating warehouse staff and daily operational tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse operations
- Coordinate warehouse staff and support daily work assignments
- Assist with receiving, picking, packing, shipping, loading, unloading, and inventory control
- Monitor order progress and help ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Communicate with warehouse staff, office team, logistics coordinators, and management
- Help identify and resolve warehouse operation issues in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Ensure warehouse procedures, safety rules, and company policies are followed
- Assist with inventory checks, stock organization, and discrepancy reporting
- Support training and guidance for warehouse team members when needed
- Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, logistics, distribution, or 3PL experience is required
- Supervisory, team lead, or warehouse coordination experience is preferred
- Must be able to communicate in both English and Mandarin Chinese for work-related coordination
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to follow instructions and coordinate tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse systems or scanning devices are an asset
- Forklift experience or forklift certification is an asset
- Ability to lift and move warehouse products as required
- Legal authorization to work in Canada is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assisting with warehouse team management
- Experience in receiving, shipping, inventory control, order fulfillment, or e-commerce warehouse operations
- Experience working in a logistics, warehousing, trucking, or 3PL company
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and daily operation flow
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Full-time position
- Overtime may be required depending on business needs
