The Technology Development group designs improvements, new features, and new products within the Mevex equipment offering. This role involves collaborating in a team environment with other technical disciplines to develop new technologies related to particle accelerator-based sterilization and processing systems. Activities in this group include requirements-gathering, specification development, conceptual design, prototyping, testing and qualification in an R&D bunker, and finally release to production. The role will involve learning and developing a broad set of skills within and outside of the traditional Mechanical Engineering discipline to solve complex problems that can involve ionizing radiation, radiofrequency energy, magnetics, thermal, high vacuum, material chemistry and other technical challenges.
