Reports to: Senior Manager, Supporter Services

Location: Guelph, ON

Term: Full-time

As the Supporter Services Administrator – Data Entry, this role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Supporter Services and is part of the Supporter Services Phone Specialist and Gift Processing Administrator team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide premier customer service to all those who donate to TGIC through data entry and gift processing. In addition, this role is responsible for opening and distributing mail, bank deposits, balancing and inputting chapter treasurer reports, constituent updates, phone donations and providing back up support to the Phone Specialist team. This role is critical to the satisfaction and retention of those donating to TGIC.

Excellent customer service and communication, interacting with donors, members and the general public.
Opening, sorting and distributing incoming mail
Data entry and processing of all credit card donations
Follow up on declined single gift credit card donations
Data entry of cash and cheque donations received via mail
Processing Online Donations
Balancing, processing and data entry of Chapter Treasurer’s Reports
Preparation of bank deposits
Filing of source documents
Scanning of cheques
Receive ministry donations via telephone
Updating donor information in Raiser’s Edge including but not limited to: address changes, deceased donors, do not mail and returned mail.
Liaison with Finance team for specialized donations
Responsible for the data entry of specialized donations i.e. Direct Deposit gifts, estate gifts, GIK, bank wires, etc.
Process chapter fund gifts, expense claims, sponsorships and year-end audit gifts
Administrative duties

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Self Starter with the ability to work independently as well as within a team
Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines
Must be adaptable to new and changing situations and priorities

5 + years office experience within a fast paced environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and a Apple MAC environment is considered an asset
