We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Automotive Service Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive repair and maintenance tasks, ensuring that vehicles are operating at peak performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. Responsibilities
- Perform light routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Complete tire storage duties
- Perform Porter duties & assist in service drive.
- Assemble components and systems according to schematics and specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for automotive repair tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs needed and services provided.
- Assist in heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive repair or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge with the ability to read s technical manuals and bulletins.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary during repairs.
- Previous experience working in a dealership environment is a plus.
- A valid driver's license is required.
