Summary
We are seeking motivated and experienced AZ Truck Drivers to join our freight division. Our fleet of truck and trailers, service the Ontario area, moving construction equipment, excavators, loaders, telehandlers, supplies and materials. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional service to our customers while ensuring safe and efficient transport of equipment. Your contributions will directly support our mission of reliability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate AZ trucks and trailers safely and efficiently to assist customers in need.
- Provide courteous service to customers and co-workers.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding job status and updates.
- Assist with loading and unloading as necessary.
- Follow all traffic laws and MTO regulations while on duty.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid full class “AZ” driver's license is required.
- Clean drivers abstract.
- Complete a criminal record check.
- Experience in commercial driving is highly preferred.
- Must have previous experience moving construction equipment and machinery.
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situation (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
- Ability to work independently while demonstrating reliability.
- Strong communication skills for customer and dispatch interaction.
- Willingness to learn; some training will be provided
