Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team and gain hands-on experience in electrical systems within industrial, residential and commercial sites in the Belleville and surrounding areas. This position offers the opportunity to develop essential skills under the guidance of experienced electricians, supporting various electrical installation, maintenance, and repair projects. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and committed to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial, residential and commercial settings
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, conduit bending, and other electrical tasks
- Work with low voltage systems and assist with wiring
- Support in performing routine inspections to identify potential electrical issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Follow detailed instructions from senior electricians to complete projects efficiently and safely
Requirements
- Basic electrical experience or coursework related to electrical systems preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints, and low voltage wiring is a plus
- Prior experience in industrial electrician work or construction environments is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices
- Willingness to learn new skills on the job under supervision
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including standing for extended periods and handling equipment safely
