The Program Evaluator will consult with the program submissions team and Senior Management team for all Air Cargo related programs.
PTIB Standards:
Credential Requirement:
- Relevant credential plus a minimum of two years of occupational experience in career occupations relevant to the program of instruction.
- No credential but a minimum of ten years of occupational experience in a career relevant to the program of instruction.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aviation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in air cargo operations, logistics, or air freight management.
- Deep understanding of international air cargo regulations, including IATA standards, customs procedures, and cargo safety protocols.
- Familiarity with air cargo management systems, tracking technologies, and automation tools used in the industry.
- Previous experience in curriculum development, education, or training preferred.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills to work with academic teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes in air cargo.
Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of cargo handling processes, including packaging, labeling, and transportation.
- Expertise in air cargo security measures and regulations, including Dangerous Goods (DG) handling and certification requirements.
- Ability to integrate technology advancements in cargo management, including RFID tracking, e-freight solutions, and green logistics initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply real-world examples to educational settings.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students in air cargo logistics and operations.
Compensation:
- This will be a contract position that will pay $250.00 to $300 Canadian per project
