We are hiring candidates to work in areas across Durham & Vaughan for providing academic support in French instruction.
Apex Educational Consulting Services Inc. is seeking educators to join our team and provide personalized academic support to students of varying ages and skill levels. As a Tutor, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their educational goals by fostering a positive learning environment and adapting your teaching methods to meet individual needs. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in boosting confidence, enhancing understanding, and promoting a love of learning in our students.
Duties
- Assessing students' current academic level in French and preparing individualized lesson plans based on the Ontario curriculum and IEP (when applicable).
- Teaching spoken and written French, as well as comprehension, to students Grades 3 to 12.
- Monitoring and tracking student progress based on AECS standards and prepared procedures.
- Reviewing students' related assignments from school and preparing them for upcoming French tests and exams.
- Must be willing to travel to the students' homes.
Qualifications:
- OCT, FSL, and/or FLE Certification is an asset
- Minimum 2 years experience tutoring/teaching French based on the Ontario curriculum
- Able to work independently
- Access to a vehicle is an asset
Job Types: Casual, Freelance
Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour
