Position Summary
The Centre Manager is a key onsite operational presence at SpectacoKids and helps ensure our centres are organized, safe, welcoming and prepared for clients and therapists each day.
You will coordinate day-to-day centre operations, respond to immediate staffing and logistical needs, support therapists onsite, oversee students and volunteers, maintain centre standards and serve as an accessible point of contact for families.
You will work closely with our Operations and Clinical teams while taking ownership of the day-to-day functioning of the centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily opening and operational readiness of the assigned centre
- Ensure therapy rooms, materials, equipment and common areas are prepared and organized
- Monitor daily therapist and client attendance and address immediate operational concerns
- Respond to same-day therapist absences, lateness and no-shows and assist with immediate coverage needs
- Serve as the primary onsite operational contact for therapists
- Support therapists with rooms, materials, supplies and other centre-related needs
- Coordinate room assignments and ensure scheduled sessions can run smoothly
- Maintain high standards for centre cleanliness, organization, safety and presentation
- Ensure therapy rooms and shared spaces are appropriately reset before and after sessions
- Coordinate centre supplies, inventory, replenishment and therapy/activity material preparation
- Identify and communicate facility, maintenance and equipment concerns
- Document incidents, injuries, attendance concerns, equipment damage and other operational concerns
- Communicate and escalate appropriate matters to the Operations Manager
- Conduct onsite orientations for therapists, students and volunteers
- Coordinate shadowing and onsite onboarding of new team members
- Serve as the main onsite contact for students and volunteers and monitor their attendance, responsibilities and accountability
- Provide onsite support to existing families and assist with routine questions and concerns
- Receive billing and payment inquiries and coordinate with Operations regarding invoice changes, funding documentation, payment arrangements or account adjustments
- Maintain clear and timely centre-related communication through Slack and internal systems
- Identify clinical concerns and appropriately escalate them to the relevant clinical supervisor or regulated professional
- Proactively identify and resolve operational issues that could affect the client, family or therapist experience
- Support additional centre operational needs as required

The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, dependable, confident and solutions-focused. You should be comfortable taking ownership of a busy environment and communicating with therapists, families, students, volunteers and management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in operations, clinic coordination, office management, centre management or a similar role
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively to unexpected situations
- Comfortable providing direction and maintaining accountability
- Professional and confident when communicating with families and team members
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable using technology and learning new systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgment
- Reliable transportation and ability to work from both our Mississauga and Milton locations as required
Experience in pediatric therapy, ABA, allied health, healthcare, childcare, education or a multidisciplinary clinic environment is considered an asset.
Experience with Jane App and Slack is also an asset.

Contract & Schedule
Contract Type: Independent Contractor
Hours: Full-time hours, Monday–Friday
Current Schedule: 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Work Setting: In person
Locations: Erindale North (Mississauga) and Milton, Ontario
A primary location will be designated whenever possible; however, the successful candidate must be comfortable supporting either location based on operational needs.
