Trailway Brewing Company is looking for a part-time Market Retail Sales Representative to join our team. The Market Retail Sales Representative is responsible for selling our products for off-site consumption to market guests at both the Garrison Night Market on Thursday evenings and the Boyce Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.
Position Requirements:
- Must be 25+ with a driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must complete the TIANB Responsible Beverage Course before starting.
- Positive and outgoing with a focus on strong customer service.
- Must be available to work Thursdays 2 pm to 10 pm and Saturdays 6 am to 2 pm. Additional hours and responsibilities may be available for special events, festivals and tastings.
- Ability to move and set up booth equipment, including carrying cases of beer weighing approximately 12kg each.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales and Customer Service:
- Engaging with customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
- Educating customers on our products, releases and any promotions
- Making product recommendations based on customer preferences
- Market Operations:
- Set up and tear down the market booth, including all displays and products.
- Ensure that the booth is clean, organized and visually appealing to customers throughout the duration of the event
- Maintain proper inventory counts before and after each market.
- Monitoring product inventory and communicating product needs to management
- Brand Representation:
- Represent Trailway Brewing positively and professionally
- Share information about all of our locations, upcoming releases and events.
- Gather customer feedback and relay information to management
- Comply with all alcohol regulations and requirements as outlined by the province of New Brunswick and ANBL.
Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics:
- Passion for craft beer and a desire to learn
- Strong communication skills
- Outgoing personality, comfortable initiating conversations with customers
- Self-driven and dependable
Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Fredericton, NB E3A 1C9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
