Job Description
Nusite is looking to add an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our growing company, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with expertise in managing construction timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, preferably within waterproofing or related fields, and excellent communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations and resolve issues proactively.
Role and Responsibilities
- Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones, and managing these throughout the project lifecycle.
- Estimating costs, preparing budgets, and tracking expenses to ensure projects stay within financial constraints.
- Coordinating and managing resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Supervising on-site personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work is done safely, on time, and to required quality standards.
- Monitoring all aspects of the project to meet compliance, safety, and quality standards, performing inspections, and resolving any quality issues that arise.
- Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize delays, cost overruns, and safety hazards.
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular project updates, and addressing concerns promptly with the head office.
- Maintaining detailed project records, including progress reports, change orders, and final project documentation.
- A construction project manager must also adapt to changes, troubleshoot issues on the fly, and stay current with industry best practices to ensure each project’s success.

Requirements
- 5+ years as a supervisor or project manager successfully executing and completing projects.
- Experience in waterproofing and thin systems considered and asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as Procore.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail,
- Excels in a team environment, but can also work independently
