Are you passionate about great food and energized by a busy kitchen? Steamworks Mount Pleasant is hiring full-time and part-time kitchen team members for our Main Street location.
We're looking for dependable, motivated people who take pride in their work, thrive under pressure, and enjoy being part of a collaborative team. In this role, you'll help prepare, cook, and serve quality food while maintaining the high standards our guests expect.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items accurately and consistently to specification.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, front-of-house employees, and management.
- Complete inventory checks and help maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Inspect ingredients regularly to ensure quality and freshness.
- Meet ticket-time standards while maintaining food quality.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe, following all health and sanitation requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, efficiency, and cost control.
What You'll Bring
- Restaurant cooking experience, preferably in a busy, high-volume kitchen.
- A self-motivated, results-driven attitude and strong work ethic.
- The ability to stay focused and perform well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound judgment and the confidence to make independent decisions when needed.
- A positive, reliable, team-first approach.
- FoodSafe certification.
- First Aid Level 1 is an asset.
