This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work virtually and/or from our Montreal office.

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Aon Investments Canada, in Montreal, QC. As a Consultant, you will report directly to the Senior Consultant.

Gather client information to assist with onboarding of new clients into service model, to assist with fund changes or onboarding of new funds.
- Assist in keeping client and fund onboarding on schedule and meeting target dates
- Assist with the development and documentation of enhanced onboarding processes and procedures

Coordinate the opening of accounts at various custodians

Prepare template letters of direction and maintain various tracking spreadsheets.

Take point for ensuring all required documentation retained and stored

Coordinate communications between the different internal and external collaborators, including meetings with all parties, generate meeting materials, and produce post-meeting results
- Organize internal weekly directive implementation status calls

Own the off-boarding process

Build and maintain operational controls and create efficiencies

Perform monthly/quarterly fee calculations

Reconcile client fees with Finance on a monthly basis

Prepare client fees related reports as requested

5 + years of relevant experience in an investment management or consulting firm;
- Experience dealing with investment managers, custodians, lawyers, compliance personnel and securities regulators;
- Experience with actuaries, consultants and insurers, an asset;
- Ability to work independently or with a team in a fast paced and rapidly growing department

Focused on execution, resolving issues and management of multiple tasks efficiently

Attention to detail and organizational skills

French / English bilingualism is preferred due to the frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and/or internationally.

Proficient with proofing skills, Word and Excel
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce
